The Artist

I have been in sales since 1990 doing Tupperware & Partylite. I got out of that kind of sales in 1996 & began my own craft business doing craft shows until 1999. I did everything including baskets, tole painting, dried floral, designing & making my own bears & dolls, & lots of country type crafts. I also designed baskets & wrote patterns for them. I began stamping by accident when trying to find an easier way to get images on my baskets than the tracing way you do in tole painting. I bought 1 stamp & took a class. The rest is history so to speak!

I got out of the craft business shortly after becoming a demonstrator because I got sick of crafting out of demand instead of fun. I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since June of 1999 & have never looked back. I used to spend hours in stamp stores trying to match paper, stamps, ink, etc all from different companies. That has been solved since SU. I never get tired of stamping because there is always some new technique or medium I can incorporate.
